To browse the data records, please use the AMCR Digital Archive: https://digiarchiv.aiscr.cz/

What can you expect?
You will gain access to the most comprehensive overview of archaeological fieldwork, artefacts, and sites in the Czech Republic. At the same time, the AMCR serves as a tool for managing this type of data. It enables you to report earthworks, keeps records of the progress and results of archaeological fieldwork, acts as a trusted digital repository of documentation, and provides data for other AIS CR tools.

Who is the AMCR for?
The Archaeological Map of the Czech Republic is intended for the professional archaeological community, specialists from related disciplines, students, and the wider public. It enables them to work effectively with the knowledge gathered by generations of archaeologists in our country.

Who operates it?
The AMCR is developed and maintained by the Institutes of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague and Brno.

We hope you enjoy using our tools and exploring the Czech archaeological heritage!

November 22, 2024 | Version 1.0.15 has been released, addressing minor fixes.

November 13, 2024 | Version 1.0.14 released, again fixing some shortcomings and bringing optimizations. We have also added the following features:
- To increase accuracy when working with maps, the primary coordinate system has been changed to S-JTSK (EPSG:5514). The map now includes coordinates in both S-JTSK and WGS-84. For compatibility reasons, the OpenStreetMaps base layer has been removed.
- In PAS, users can use any available record as a template for entering a new record. Simply select the option ("Enter similar record") in the record details menu (top right).
- Collaboration in PAS can now also be filtered by history.
- The maximum number of records exported from tables has been limited to 50,000 records for performance reasons.
- Files up to 250 MB in size can now be uploaded.
- You can now request to unsubscribe a project directly from the project details menu for projects with the status "registered". Based on the request, an email with an explanation is sent to the administrator, who then ensures that the project is unsubscribed.
- Improved behavior of the left menu, clearer display of the current status in the status bar, and anchoring of table headers when scrolling.
- File replacements can now also be uploaded in the 3D Library.

October 13, 2024 | Version 1.0.12 has been released, which, in addition to fixes and optimizations, brings several new features, in particular:
- Maps can now be searched by cadastral area, parcel, address, and other data, similar to the services provided by the ČÚZK Geoportal.
- Project reporter data is visible to archaeologists even 30 days after another organization has registered it.
- Using the menu option, you can easily request hidden data about the announcer - these requests will be assessed individually based on the reasons provided.
- Finds for components can now be added three at a time, so there is no need to save the record so often.
- When registering an announcer via the projects menu (not via the announcement form), it is possible to enter an invalid phone number and email address, i.e., enter a dash in the case of unknown data. However, we recommend filling in at least the email address for the sake of automatic communication between the system and the announcer.
- All buttons for saving and sending records now have an activity indicator, making it easy to see that the application is working and that there is no need to enter the command repeatedly.
